The event taking place on 5th October at Centrul de Interes has brought together performances, art installations, sound art, and drawings, in a transdisciplinary perspective.
In order to implement an inclusive and communal idea of work, the event has been preceded by a workshop run by the artists, addressed to the students of the University of Art and Design Cluj. The participating students had the opportunity to present their performances alongside the artists.

The fourth edition of Beds has been a reflection on the relation between the state of ruin and mathematics, trying to understand what it means, metaphorically and concretely, to preserve a state of ruin.
The facade of the building housing Centrul de Interes is an image of the spontaneity with which time acts on a structure as well as the repetitive nature of decay.

The ruins of industrial buildings, like all ruins, are fragmentary and conserve traces of the original symmetries
and proportions. However, there is a point of contact with ‘mathematics’ that interests us. It is not in using it as a tool to imagine a possible restoration of what has been lost, but it lies in the idea of how unpredictability and order both comprise all complex systems, challenging as such the traditional concept of determinism.
It is a reflection on the idea of predictability, of structural collapse, and serenity of calculation.
